The Jeep Grand Cherokee has always been one of Canada’s most beloved SUVs. However, this year, the sporty and luxurious vehicle has been transformed into a fuel-efficient plug-in hybrid. With the new 4xe addition, this already popular vehicle is sure to remain one of the most sought-after SUVs in its class. Here is a look at what you can expect to find on the new 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4xe.
Powerful Performance
The 2022 Grand Cherokee 4xe will utilize two powerful motors to bring you a fun and fuel-efficient driving experience. There is no word yet on which impressive Jeep motor will be used. The current Jeep Grand Cherokee offers a 3.6-litre V6 engine and a 5.7-litre V8 engine. The 4xe could use with one of those while adding a plug-in hybrid motor to the mix as well.
Exterior Design
The Grand Cherokee 4xe looks similar to the previous Grand Cherokee models, but with a few new additions. For instance, the 4xe comes with a charging port that is located right behind the front tire. The body also features a revised front fascia and a sleeker body that is outlined in well-defined lines.
Interior Comfort
The Grand Cherokee 4xe’s interior is both spacious and luxurious. The cabin offers two rows of spacious seating and provides plenty of legroom for both the front and back seat passengers. And to ensure that every occupant of the vehicle is able to stay warm all winter long, the cabin comes standard with heated front seats and a heated steering wheel and also offers heated rear seats.
In the back, there is also a large rear cargo area that can be expanded by folding down the rear seats in a 60/40 split. With both seats folded down flat, the cabin can provide up to 1,943 litres (68.3 cubic feet) of interior cargo space.

The 2022 Grand Cherokee 4xe will come with a wide range of standard safety features. Some of the features that you can find on this impressive vehicle include:

The rest of the entertainment features are expected to be similar to the Grand Cherokee L’s features, which would include an available 19-speaker premium audio system.
