Performance and Driveability
There are four engine options for this lineup: a 3.0L EcoDiesel, a 3.6L V6 Pentastar eTorque, a 5.7L eTorque HEMI V8, and a 6.2L HEMI V8. The first option delivers a torque capacity of 480 lb-ft and 260 hp. The second option has 305 hp and a torque capacity of 269 lb-ft.
The 5.7L eTorque HEMI V8 and 6.2L HEMI V8 are more powerful: the first has 395 hp and 410 lb-ft of torque, while the second has 702 hp and 650 lb-ft of torque capacity. The maximum towing capacity for this lineup is 5,783kg. The fuel efficiency on average is 11.9km/L in city conditions and 9.4km/L on highways.
Interior and Exterior
The Ram 1500 lineup is among the most spacious of its kind, thanks to its Ram Mega Cab. Higher trims have upholstery of real leather and finishing of real wood. All seats are heated and ventilated. The front seats have 12 options for adjustment, and the rear seats are reclining.
Passengers on the front seats have 104cm of legroom, 103.8cm of headroom, 167.6cm of shoulder room, and 161cm of hip room. All trims are 581.4cm long, 208cm wide, and 197.1cm high. Backseats have 903cm of legroom, 995cm of headroom, 166.8cm of shoulder room, and hip room of 161cm. There’s UV light in the glove box for the elimination of bacteria.
Tech and Safety
The new Ram 1500 line is one of the most luxurious in the market when it comes to tech and safety features. There’s a 30.48cm Uconnect 5 touchscreen that controls the infotainment system and comes with split-screen technology. Passengers are treated with a 19-speaker Harman Kardon sound system.
There are 360-degree camera views, Pandora’s Personalized Stations, and Sirius XM. Driving assists include Emergency Vehicle Alert System (EVAS), forward collision warning, ready alert braking, blind-spot monitoring, and adaptive cruise control.

The 2023 Ram 1500 lineup has nine trims available, all of which are highly customizable. The base trim, Tradesman, starts at $48,945, while the highest trim, the TRX, starts at $104.895.
