Notable Changes From The Previous Year
The 2024 Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid brings only a few changes from last year. The new lineup has only two trims equipped with a standard emergency vehicle alert system. The Pinnacle has a new interior colour, sepia, while baltic gray and red hot are also available for the Select.
Performance and Driveability
Both trims have the same engine: a 3.6L Pentastar Variable Valve Timing (VVT) equipped with an eFlite Electrically Variable Transmission (EVT). Fuel efficiency rates are also the same, at 8.0 L / 100 km in the city and 7.9 L / 100 km on highways. It has 260 horsepower, a hybrid driving range of 835 km, and a 2.9 L / 100 km hybrid fuel efficiency.
Interior and Exterior
The Select has cruise and audio controls on the steering wheel, while the Pinnacle adds a heated two-tone luxury steering wheel with a chrome accent ring. Standard interior design features for both models include sunscreen glasses, auto-dimming rearview mirrors, and easy-slide second-row bucket seats. The Pinnacle adds window shades for the second and third rows of seats, footwell courtesy lamps, and rear ambient lighting.
The exterior design is quite similar for both models, although some details set the Pinnacle apart. It has exclusive features like a Platinum Chrome Stow ’n Place roof rack system, a suede headliner, a dual-pane sunroof, and a front-side door Pinnacle badge. All models have LED fog lamps with chrome accent bezels, LED taillamps, liftgate flood lamps, Chrysler wing grille badges and rear decklid Pacifica badges.
Technology and Safety
The entry-level model comes with a six-month subscription to SiriusXM, while the Pinnacle has standard SiriusXM 360L. Both trims have two 12v auxiliary outlets, but the Pinnacle also includes a 115v power outlet. There’s a 10.1-inch touchscreen display equipped with Uconnect 5 NAV in each model, plus a 7-inch customizable in-cluster display. Those choosing the Select can opt for the Uconnect Theatre Group with Amazon Fire TV.
There are many standard safety features across the lineup, including blind spot monitoring with rear cross-path detection, electronic stability control with hill start assist, electronic park brake, and Park-Sense rear parking assist with active braking. All models are equipped with an advanced airbag system covering all rows. The Pinnacle also includes a few extra features, such as a universal garage door opener, a KeySense programmable key fob, and parallel and perpendicular park assist.
