The all-new 2023 Ram ProMaster Unveiled

What’s New

 

There have been some substantial changes. The front-end has been changed with new headlights, and the grille has been updated. The entire exterior has been modernized. The halogen lights are now 29% brighter with 15% more range. There are also optional LED lights available that have never been available on the ProMaster before. These lights are 70% brighter and have 50% more range. 

 

Exterior

 

The front bumper has built-in steps for easy access to the windshield so that you can change windshield wipers and clean the windshield. There are also new colour options available, namely ceramic grey and spitfire orange. The ProMaster will be available in three roof configurations. A new roof option called the super high-configuration increases the Ram’s headspace by an impressive 10-inches. This will make the ProMaster the cargo van with the highest roof and the most interior volume available to buy.

 

Interior

 

The control cluster is a lot more modern, with controls that are easily accessible. A lot of the new products from Stellantis have been carried over into the new model. Like the Uconnect 5 infotainment system with the optional seven-inch and 10-inch touchscreens. Mobile phone integration is now possible with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. You can set the cabin to five driver profiles. The cabin can connect to multiple Bluetooth devices, and the wireless hotspot can connect to eight wireless devices.

 

The 2023 Ram ProMaster will have four cargo length options. There will be eight-feet, 10-feet, 12-feet, and 13.5-feet options. The super-high roof extension will add 10-inches of headroom. This will give the Ram a massive 500 cubic feet of cargo space.

 

Technology and Safety Features

 

Ram has added a bunch of safety tech to the 2023 Ram ProMaster. They’ve added a rear-view camera and a 360-degree view camera. More added driver aids include parking assistance. 

 

The powertrain remains the same but features the next-generation 3.6-litre Pentastar V6 engine with a nine-speed automatic transmission. This engine is capable of producing 250 feet-pound of torque and 276 horsepower. The 2023 Ram ProMaster will not be available in diesel and will only be available in front-wheel drive.

 

This utility van now comes with Active Driving Assist Level. This system uses lane centring, adaptive cruise control, radars, and cameras. Drivers will still need to keep their eyes on the road and their hands on the wheel. Level Two Active Driving Assist is not confused with Level Three Active Driving Assist since Level Three is a lot more advanced.

 

The Alexa In-Vehicle Assistant can now provide sports enthusiasts with real-time sports scores, weather, check the news, add a to-do list, etc.

 

Trims

 

The 2023 Ram ProMaster will be available in 19 trims, a van to be used for every kind of work situation or to be turned into a lifestyle vehicle as a camper van. With extra wheelbase, extra cargo capacity, and three different roof heights.
